going camping

well, right now, i wish i am at homein bed. kena migraine attack pulak kat leberi ni..veru busy day today. babysitting, packing for camping, kemas sana , kemas sini..wanted to reply to emails pun no time. bila ada time gini sikit..kepala pulak buat hal..then nak reply kat multiply..multiply pulak buat hal.

anyway, i will be gone tonight till probably sunday. going to wilson for a camping trip :) till then, happy weekends everyone.

finally..ingatkan tadi kat leberi nak update but i didn't have the chance. my colleague, this one i see her only at meetings and when i have to work weekends, was chatting with me. so bebual lah dengan dia..catching up with what is going on in her life. very nice and humble person.

this is one of my favourite spot. it is so peaceful :)


semalam pulak, was the day we sort of celebrated pre-mother's day nyer celebration..hehe. we went on a 10 mile hike. on hilly area pulak tu. the one where we went last week. minggu lepas adalah 8 miles we hike..was not so bad. this one..wahhh...cam nak semput pun ada..all because it was so hot and the hike up the hill pushing the stroller tak leh buat sehh..sib baik sean ada sep i..hehe. we worked it out that i will push on flat trail while on hilly areas he will do it. this time, both girls got to do what they wanted. at the end of the 5 mile mark..ada playground. so sarah got to play there for like 30 mins. gave sean and i time to rest japs. then ada pulak wall for wall climbing for kids..sarina nak buat but not sure..so kena i panjat wall tu just to show her that if i can do it so can she..sib baik takder orang..hahaha.

then on the way back..berenti kat sungai, the one where we found last week. this time it was after the rain so it was a bit high. tak amik gambar this time sebab i dah penat but we took picture last week. so will upload it once i can resize the pictures , only after the photoshop elements have been loaded. ni tengah load lah ni..entah bila tah nak habis. got nice pictures of the girls and sean playing in the river. banyak jugak gambar nak kena upload..tu lah...no other program can do this. dulu ada several but after reformatting ni..gots to install several lah..senang sikit.

ni pulak sarah..i suruh dia smile for me entah apa tah dia buat. she was like dancing ke aper ker like that lah..


nak story sikit about last week nyer trip. we started the trip with me being moody as usual. sebab i was so tired after having to wake up early to open the library for the book sale. last week..i had a long week where i have to work everyday for long hours. then balik ingatkan nak releks but sean nak gi hiking pulak. so ikut kan jer.but my face showed that i was not happy..hehe. sampai jer kat trail..i punyalah boring ..malas nak cakap pun ada jugaklah..and sarina can sense my mood so she pun cam takder mood nak hike. tu yang buat sean melenting..hehehe. so he took the stroller from me and trudged on ahead..going uphill.. untung i. dapat hubby baik..tengah2 boring dengan i..sempat pulak dia took the stroller over the slope on the hill was quite steep..hehee.

this one you can tell that she has something on her mind. agaknyer..she is thinking camaner nak lompat kat batu besar tu.. or..bontot dia gatal and she tengah garuk2..hehehe


but i think he also took over sebab he could see that i was having difficulty lah..hahahha. berdebas bedus trying to breathe in and out for air..imagine this positing..badan at right angle..hands straight in front pushing the stroller with all my might..hahahah... pastu i pulak sombong..tak nak tunjuk i ni weak..hahahaha.


further upstream. cuma sarina jer yang boleh turun sebab she is light enough to pull herself up..hehe. kalau sean and i turun..gerenti tak leh naik sebab it is kinda steep lah takder easy access. so we pulled her up when she was done playing in the creek.

so in the end i dengar dia berleter kat sarina..took the stroller over and wahh laju seh..i dengan sarina..pastu slow and steady jer..at the foot of the hil..nampak dia tengah duduk kat bench tengah tunggu kiter dua orang..hehe. sampai jer kat situ..i tanyer sean ' are you done throwing your fit?'..hehehe. pastu dah okay dah..haha. actually tiap2 kali we go hiking it will always be like this. for the first 20 minutes i will be such a grouch..then after that all is well..hahahah. had so much fun :) but yesterday..was great. sarina nak pegi makan spaghetti..but then she stopped short and said that it was up to me to choose the restaurant. i felt like eating italian so we went o avelutto's and had cheese pizza for us, while the girls makan spaghetti. cute sarah makan spaghetti..mulut kuncup2 sedut mee tu..hehe.





ni ah baru posing betul2. cantik sikit..hehe. nampak tu spot kat tetengah baju dia..we all had a change of clothes lah kan. so that we can change into clean stuff after the hike. ingatkan she will not get dirty..but alamak..when i took her our of the car seat..belum lagi gi hiking baju dia dah kotor dulu lah..cehhhh...and i pulak tak bawak her spare clothes. this week came all prepared :)





okay..dah abis install. actually belum habis but i tak sabar..so kensel jer the installation thingy but for some reason can still use it. so dah resize some of the pictures dah :) will upload the rest on multiply insyallah besok okay :)

alamak..alignment went haywire pulak..ah lantak lah dah nak naik atas ni :) sarah pulak mintak tukar she said she is wet..besok insyallah sambung lagi and will try and get caught up with all the comments okay :) once again..happy mother's day to all of you :)

so very the busy

first and foremost i would like to wish a belated birthday to my sister..hehehe. sori hor..i sometimes forgot my own birthday.. so sumi:

anyway, got tonnes of pictures nak upload and stories to tell. but i have to finish this project for tomorrow 1st grade students nyer visit to the library. before that, i had to sit with some teens to get ideas for the re-do of the young adults section..and before that had to sit down for a few meetings for the summer reading programme and plan for activities to do with them. and on top of that..i had to work work work..hehe.

so things to look forward too: more pictures on our hikes, more pictures drawn by the kids and sarina nyer original story about the monsters and their germs.. so till then tunggu eh :) mintak sori lah tak update2..and also nanti will reply to all the comments. :)

a little bit of this and that..

well, this is a picture that sarina drew for me last night while i was on the phone with sri. hehe...ingat tak sri..hai..all the interruptions..the pencil sharpener..the terpekik terlolong. :) anyway, it got her into trouble sebab she was supposed to go to bed and obviously she was busy doing something else.



she also wrote a poem that goes with this picture. i liked it. here it is..and as you can see..the images came out well kan...kan kan...guess what..we have got a new printer, scanner, copier and fax...all in one. i know , i know..this could be a disaster kalau the thing rosak or at least one of the functions..but for the discount that i got..it may not be that bad :) anyway..the poem written by sarina.

she also wrote a poem in school about the colour blue..nanti nanti lah i will scan it. anyway, i am feeling loads better. also came to a realisation that, there are others with worse problem that i do. teringat pulak my mom nyer words..'ni baru sikit, belum kena banyak..kalau kena banyak macam mana agaknyer'..with that in mind..like i said..i finally snapped out of my funk..well not so much lah but it is still better than before.

also, sean played hookie last monday..hehe. cleared his schedule and we went to kansas city just the two of us. it was very nice. went to a bead store, ate a quiet lunch together and we went for a 4 mile hike. then balik picked the kids up and i am thinking of doing it again next monday..hehe. nanti karang nak tanyer sean if he wants to do this. bet he will not be happy that we have to postpone the meeting with the loyar yang tak buruk..hehe.

anyway, after the moustache and the armpit hair nyer incident, a couple of nights later, again back from the leberi...we sat quietly in the living room. then alih2 jer..bau wangi semerbak...a little bit later..the bau wangi tu, buat tekak i loya pulak..it was so overpowering. then i heard sarah saying something like telling mommy..heard sarina said' no..don't'...so apa lagi..panggil sarah lah kena interrogate. we heard this scuttling of feet...sarina lari dulu to us and told us that she did it too. i turned my attention to sarah..maklumlah..orang kecik..kaki pendek sikit dari kakak..so lambat sampai..hehe. asked her what is going on..but before she can answer..the smell became stronger. tak tahan seh..bau2 sikit..the smell came from sarah..panggil her closer and i was almost bowled over by the smell. asked her what happened and she said 'sarina did it'. looked at sarina and she said that she did it to her hair too.. fullamak...peng sehh..guess what she did..ni kira main hairdresser lah ni..she used like almost a quarter of the febreeze air freshener and sprayed it into sarah's hair..pandai pulak tu..spray rambut adik dia..but not to her hair...wahhhh...

then yesterday morning, we all walked sarina and naomi to school. by we all, i mean sarah and i ler..ehhe. beautiful day..sampai kat junction dekat rumah jer..sarah said..'mummy this is for dogs' while pointing to the yellow fire- hydrant. lahhh..apa lagi..i ketawa besar kat tepi jalan. kereta lalu agaknyer pun ingat mrs. fay tak betul..hehe.bilang kat dia..no lah not for dogs..it is for the firemen to put out fire...hahaha.

apa lagi ler..dah ada scanner..main scan everything..hehe. this is a picture of sean that sarah did. it was done mths ago. teringat sarina nyer picture of us at about the same age. very similar. and yang kat bawah pulak..sarah nyer picture of a tree which she did at the discovery class kat leberi :)


okaylah...dah nak dekat time for me to go in for my evening shift kat leberi and nak kena kasi the girls makan nasi with lauk sayur masak air :) yumssss! nak kena goreng telur dadar dulu..hiris lada and bawang...and makan dengan sambal cincalok yang kak za kasi..hehe..fuuuhh..buncit lah perut i masuk keje karang..hahaha.
