guess what i got when i went to get my mail a couple of days ago?..a box...jeng jeng jeng jeng...and guess from who?...none other than my beloved kak za...yeahhhh!..teka apa i dapat..hehe. okay tak yah teka..i will tell. i got one tin biskut of kueh tart..yummmssss!..wahh i ingatkan butter cookies..but then i saw the scotch tape..wahhhh..i suspected what it was and apa lagi lah..bukak tin terus ngap :) sean and i were like flies hovering around the tin. really made my day lah...haha. and not only that..i got a bottle of kicap cap kipas udang..ooohhh..lagi sedap. then ngot a small bottle of sambal cincalok..fuhhh!
but that's not all...i dapat baju gaon bati..lawa and so comfortable. best ni pakai time spring and summer :) tak lupa all the packets of curry powders..hehe and even sarina got something. she got a kit for beginning crochet. she loved it. she actually slept with it every night. kotak blum bukak but she brings it to her bed and put it beside her. every morning, i saw the box next to her pillow. but you know what, the strangest thing was a few days before receiving the package, sarina came in one day and showed us a thank you card she made. it was blue in colour with shells that she had picked from when we were in massachusetts. she said this card is for aunty za. cam telepathic gitu eh..hehe. she was very excited when she got the kit. cuma i told her to wait until spring break, so that we have time to sit down and do it together.
oh kak za..thank you so much for the goodies. *hugssss* ni planning..sometime in fall, we will be going up there again :) ni tengah pikir ni..when will i be going back to singapore..jadi ke tidak eh..there will be some changes coming pretty soon. maybe big maybe not..so we'll see. but i think it is a bit of a big change. seperation and all that..so we'll see how this will all work out eh.
sarah is getting better. still a bit sniffly but otherwise, she is back to her normal self. she is now wearing baju kurung almost every day. she is such a girly girl lah. pakai baju kurung with her shiny shoes kaler hitam. the shoes like the one dorothy wore in the wizard of oz, but hers were red. sarina lost both her front teeth and soon she will need orthodontic work on her teeth. i tell you..her teeth berterabur. it is crowded at the bottom..plus, she has a new tooth growing behind a baby one and that one is not even loose yet. so much for hybrid vigour..hahaha. okaylah..i dah amik dah gambar of the things that kak za gave me..but tak jumpa lak cable for the lap top.
as for the computer..we will be getting 2 new ones..yeay!..well more like upgrading the upstairs one too :) anyway...have to go now..need to cook lunch . toodle loo :)

back for the time being...:)
my desk top still belum repair. ni tengah pakai lap top..itu pun dunno when dia boleh alih2 jer hang. mmg tak guna lah this toshiba. anyway, sorri eh to all, that i have not been going to your blogs and all that stuff. have been busy with work. niari pun actually have to go in but disebabkan sarah is sick..have to stay at home. bagus jugak lah..gave me the opp to get on here and also rest a bit. rumah i cam tongkang pecah..well dah not so pecah lah..sebab tuari dapat jugak i lipat kain baju yang menggunung..hehe. rumah vacumm jer..dah berserak balik. sarah ni very messy lah..pastu pemalas pulak nak pick up her own mess. ni ah she is lying on the couch..batuk2 and feverish. there is this bug going around..takut jugak lah..sebab i think she was wheezing yesterday. maklumlah..this weather..in between winter and spring..kejap sejuk kejap panas..so flu season is here. takut jugak if it is bronchitis or hopefully not pneumonia..ada jugak kes kat sini.
well, we have made a decision. one that we probably had to do one day anyway. we will be selling the practice. i think i have had enough of it. all the crap that we had to go through at the expense of our mental and physical health. let's face it, sean does not have the businessman personality..hahaha..he is too nice to be the occasional jerk that one has to be when you have to deal with employees. he has already gotten another job. he is working with the state one day a week and insyallah will be starting to work full time by end of june or july. from now till then, is the transitioning period. it all depends on what we can do about our current practice. he is working 4 days a week here still and this sat, we will be seeing a consultant to see about the prospective buyer. and then we will need to go and see an attorney. to see what our options are.
well, at least the plan is already rolling. it probably will not be that smooth sailing, but nothing is anyway. at least we are grateful that with his line of work, it is not that difficult to find something that will work for him alhamdullilah. i still think that he should go back to school and take up oral path..that is oral pathology. that way he doesn't have to deal with real ppl physically. all he has to do is look at biopsies and do a diagnostic. if he does, there is a programme in NY..hehe..kak za..makin dekat lah kiter eh :) there is also another one in indiana. both have stipends.
well, like kak za said, spring is here..the daffodils and the hyacinths are blooming. the crocuses are blooming like crazy too. but old man winter can still come and visit, leaving his mark and freezing the buds and bossoms. my peach tree will be blooming soon. mintak2 takder lah frost. i need to get my groove back. it's been a while since i feel up lah eh..hahaa. insyallah..soon. i wonder, how much sean and i have aged in the past three years? the stress of having to deal with bigotry and what not..we came here with the notion that a small town which is not too backwards would be a good place to start. but how wrong we are. like the villages that i see in asia, it is the same here. some are very open minded..but most can be very closed minded. and hiawatha is one of them. having said that though, there is still hope for this place :) maybe not right now..but sometime in the future. new young professionals coming in..more liberal in their outlook..at least we gave it a shot..hahaha. okaylah..have to get sarina ready for school.
