wouldn't it be nice, if all of us could get together and bask in the light of camaraderie :) hehe..makan2..bual2..driving2 and for some shopping2 :) sean and i are not avid shoppers, so one visit to the outlet mall is enough i guess :) well two visits actually :)

anyway, yesterday was a bummer, but not quite. planned to go to NYC but the rain was a deterrent. good thing too that we didn't go..because we went to boston instead and well..traffic was backed up a long ways. so imagine how NYC would be kan..so kena plan for that another day. but we still got to see a lot of boston this time..driving near the college, went to the chinatown..i love the chinatowns here..meaning here in the US..makes me feel a bit like at home you know. anyway, today sean said, we might go back to newport, rhode island and maybe go for a bit of a hike :) so we'll see..it was sunny this morning and now it is cloudy again..well..you win some, you lose some as they say :)

remember the saying, the grass is always greener on the other side..hahahha...well that is how i feel whenever i am away. and esp when i am here. just oove the fresh seafood and the atmosphere. the blue sky the cold crisp air..semalam the wind chill punyalah sejuk..they said that it was 0 degree F..whis is like -32 degrees C.

after three years of coming here..i finally went to the outlet mall...i love the Columbia store..pergi Coach jugaklah sebab nak get something for orang Singapore yang telah banyak berjasa kat my family eh..dah nak dekat masuk 20 tahun dah..we wait..dah over 20 years agaknyer kira2 :) her patience in dealing with our idosyncracies and what not ..hehe.

anyway, semalam shopping sakan, insyallah today nak go for a drive and see where we'll go lah. insyallah besok nak spend time in boston and on tue will go to NYC :) sarina is so excited already nak gi the Natural History Museum :)

okaylah..gambar nanti will try and download..alah gambar pun i lom amik lagi..adalah gambar telor...bunga daun kesom..hahaha! and sarina claimed that she had her first ever paranormal experience..hahahhahaha!

well, two bags are packed and two more to go. now that the girls are bigger kan..so baju2 seme bigger and take up more space. insyallah will try and hapdet eh..hehe. caught the weather outlook over there..they already have snow! we have yet to have ours, where i live lah. some parts of kansas already have snow and flurries :)

insyallah will take tonnes of pictures to share with you all :) this will be our 3rd time there. masih ingat tak sri..time i nak first2 go to the east..hahaha..tak leh tido sebab ada pre-travel jitters. dunno why i am always like this..maybe because i have to leave the cats behind perhaps..hahahah! but yeah..cannot sleep lah..anxious lah..isshhh! but alhamdullilah we are still able to take a short vacation. well..until i am able to update again..you all have a great day and week next week :) actually i also won't be gone for long..hahha. only a bit more over a week jer :)

this is the place that we've been wanting to go. last time we went to this place, i was pregnant with sarina and sampai jer kat tempat ni..lahh..i mabuk semacam..nak muntah lah..perut lapar lah..macam nak pengsan pun ada. sean pulak , dia boring kat i sebab we had to leave immediately..haha..like i have control over my hormones. safe to say, we didn't go back to this place until yesterday :)

happy diorang dapat climb up that rock..sarah tu sebab dia tak leh pull herself up to sit next to sarina, dia tengah tangkap boring.

yang kelakar nyer apa tau..we told sarah that it's called 'castle rock' but she called it 'casserole rock' instead..hahahaha. lantaklah sarah :) we were the only ones there tau..except for this red truck..but mostly they were on one side and tak nampak pun the drivers or the ppl. so apa lagi..the bebudak and bapak budak happy semacam. they went on separate ways and i pulak yang tertinggal kat belakang, as you can see from the pictures that i took :) so tu sesapa yang datang kansas kan..if you drop by my place..insyallah we will take you here eh :) leh panjat memanjat sambil menikmati keindahan suasana..ceyybahhh!..hahaha. and as usual, you can see more pics here :)

pejam celik, pejam celik..dah 5 tahun sarah is with us :) and insyallah, she will be with us for many more years to come too :) she turned 5 last monday but niari baru i buat kan dia kek. she requested a strawberry cake..ingat kan nak jugak lah buat kan a cake that looks like a strawberry..but mood malas dah tiba pulak :) so i buatkan this one jer..inside is this pink cake with strawberry pieces baked into it sekali :) also..insyallah, will update more..we went to castle rock :)



ni dia castle rock..actually is a bunch of rock formation lah..mostly of lime and sandstone. tengah sort out the rest of the pictures. the girls had a lot of fun climbing and exploring these rocks :)

anyway..crisis averted :) alhamdullilah..i told sean what happened first thing he got home, and as much as he didn't want to do it..he called the guy up and said that it is not a good time to be here :) syukur alhamdullilah...i am at peace. :)

ni seme sean nyer pasal lah..boring sehh and he knows it too. semalam, habis i membebel kat dia. sampai the girls and i stressed sehh..all because he said yes to a friend's brother ( dia ni pun kira our friend jugaklah) that he could stay with us for a few days..well, he didn't say yes actually..he told the guy to call back during the weekend to see what we're doing..and well..we were busy doing our own things this weekend anyway. so semalam kan..this guy called us on the cell phone and the phone berkali2 sehh..5 times each..and sean told me not to answer the phone. the guy apparently wanted to come out last night itself.

susahlah macam gini..i mean..if i were sean, i would have said ..it may not be a good idea for now..my wife is not in a good mood..hehe. so now..he called and left a msg that he wants to come out tonight or tomorrow and stay for a few days..alamakkkk! i don't like it because sean is working deiii! i don't want him to stay with me in the house esp, with sarina in sch and on wednesday, both kids will be in school...kalau my brothers satu hal jugaklah..so how? i have not told sean yet..sebab when i got this latest msg, sean dah balik gi keje after lunch. boring ...boring... also sean said that he is afraid that this guy may want to stay for more than just a couple of days..alamakkkkkk! don't get me wrong..kalau i masih kat rumah lama..i tak kisah sebab he can stay in the other house..i bilang kat sean..suruh jer dia pergi kat hiawatha..hehe.

also i bilang kat sean..why not tell the guy to go camping at the lake...hehe. he said that he needed to be away from his mother ( this one long story lah..and he cannot go back to his sister's..also long story..but with good reason why the sister doesn't want him around). and then sean said he does not want to get in the middle of it all..so he tak answer the phone..so frustrating. i think, if he's married ker..not so bad..yerlah...ada kaum hawa lain kan..ni he's by himself..i rasa tak sedap lah even though i know him already, sebab whenever he's around, sean was always around.

tapi takper..i doa2 mintak2 he has a change of heart lah..tak jadi datang. see lah ..my mood spoil seh for the whole day.
