well..semenjak dua menjak ni kan..macam malas gitu nak hapdet ini blog..tak tau lah kenapa. nak kata takder cerita , ada jugaklah sikit2..hahaha! but rasa2 macam penat lah. last week jer 4 hari dah takder kat rumah..and nampak2 nyer this thursday sampai saturday mungkin takder kat rumah jugak.

anyway, interesting thing happened during christmas..apa yang i telah saspek, turned out to be true. within a span of just a few minutes...rasa2 nyer lah..years of misunderstanding and confusion macam hilang serta merta. it is so nice to see sean being so happy to be with his siblings :) they all seme macam heran..amacam perkara ni boleh berlaku and mengapa dan bagaimana boleh meleret2 sampai 10 tahun..hehehehe! but we all know the source kan :) wahhhh..dah macam drama swasta..tak sangka kat kansas ni ada drama macam gini lah..hee hee hee!

anyway, alhamdullilah..insyallah with all this kan..hopefully, their relationship with strengthen eh :) ameeeeeennn.

well..lepas krismas jer..his parents celebrated their 50th wedding annivesary. so i buatlah appetisers sikit..for krismas i buat kuih makmur and tart. tart lah peberet..while makmur close second. then for the appetisers kan..i buat epok2 sardin, which was a big hit in two houses..i buat pedas2..hahah! ada yang tak leh makan..hahahha! i also buat bakwan..another hit..hummus..not so and i buat my own meatballs with my homemade pasta sauce..pun they all like :) all in all..it was a very enjoyable get together lah :)

lupa pulak..this year kita beraya pakai baju kurung adik i kirim :) nak pakai raya lepas tak sempat kan..so kita tiga beranak boria time krismas..hahahah!

well..apa lagi lah..kat ehpot tadi makan lunch ..memula terkekeh2 ketawa gembira ria..and then when it came time to part..halamakkkkk! i nyer air mata buat perangai pulak...i ter-menangis ..hehe. *sigh*..so sad lah..it's like this whole week passed by like a snap gitu. how time flies eh when you want to go slow and vice versa..oh well. kalau ada rezeki panjang umur..insyallah, we will meet again next year. but still..sebak sehhhhhh dada! i am glad that i got to spend time with my brother :) so abang..bila nak bawak you nyer anak beranak winter holiday kat sini..hehehehehehehhe!

gambar taken from sharil nyer folder :) what do we do..nothing really..just hanging out and malam tunggu sean balik and we eat out :) due to the cold weather kan..nothing much that we can do. ingatkan besok nak bawak pergi kansas city and lawrence but nampak gaya kena kensel sehhhhh! they are predicting for freezing icy, rain. so not a good time to be on the road. hopefully, the roads are okay for us to drive at least to hutch or wichita ..that would be great :) at least can bring him to the mall.but actually kan..i nak see if there are any crabs at the asian store..haha. tekka ni nak makan ketam rebus lah :)

yesterday, after buying thermal underwear kan..barulah he did not feel so cold that he couldn't be out for long. and since, yesterday they started school later, he decided to send sarina to school. sarina pun apa lagi drew a map for him..takut sesat..hahaha! and betul pun..he sesat kejap..because he forgot to bring the map along. sib baik pandai retrace the steps..hahahahahahhaha!

patience...

haii..like what i had been told so many times and that all of you have heard throughout your entire lives..bersabar tu adalah separuh daripada iman :) and with that..i think i should practice that too.

i ni, am normally a very patient person..cuma don't ask about that to my family..they'd beg to differ...hahahahah...but i think, there are times, when i think it is all just a test for me :) maybe i had done something wrong somewhere and hence the events that took place after are the consequences of it . if so, i'll accept and i take it with a pinch of salt and also as part of a lesson learned :) for that i am grateful.

as as far as it being a lesson for me, suffice to say..that's the end of it. i will trouble no more :) insyallah..hahahah!

let's start from the end shall we :)

lately macam hart cakap..no mojo gitu..hahaha. i guess we're still trying to get back into the groove after a week's vacation kan..and then sean said that he is not feeling to great. hope he is not getting the cold. my arm is still bothering me..but what else is new haha! i think the winter blues has set in :) i am eating errmm..more? when i should be eating less . so much for my diet..hahahah! it seems like we're going on another road trip this weekend. this time to Iowa. to attend a funeral. sean nyer nenek sedara who was 80+ passed away last week. but get this..she will be buried this saturday. imagine how long the body is kept just so ppl could come and view..hmmm. but, i guess that is their way lah eh.

i was putting away my phone and cords when i saw kak za feeding the animals in the barn and here she's feeding the chicken and ducks. i was in the dining room when i took this.

well..last day at westport, was sedih sehhh..as usual..it started slow and suddenly the frantic packing ensues. first it was trying to clean the car..maklumlah, the girls sitting in the back, thrashed it like nobody's business and then wiping the windows of the car, anticipating the snow that was predicted in connecticut and pen. but before that, of course, we had to go and have our last meal together..hehe. we went to back eddy. before going to this place, sean and i voted fanizzi's at Ptown to be the best restaurant ever. but after going to back eddy...clearly we now know which is the better restaurant. the fish and chips that i had was so light and yummy. really...and sean said that his scallops was perfect.

whenever we ate at a restaurant there, i told myself..i am not going to order fish and chips..time to order something else..and what do i to each time..order fish and chips and this is by far the best i've tasted ever!

and then it was time to say goodbye..sedih jugak..sebak jugak dada ni kan..but have to maintain eh..tak mo melalak depan the girls..sarah was already yelling goodbyes from her car seat and sarina was going in and out saying her goodbyes and then it came time for the adults to part ways. now when shakespeare said ' parting is such sweet sorrow'..he had to be on crack..no parting is sweet, unless the person whom you're saying goodbye to, lives near you..hahaha!

anyway, to kak za and john, our thanks and gratitude for opening your house yet again to the four of us. having to put up with the incessant chatter from the girls and my constant ermm...not so quiet reinforcements to my daughters..hahaha!

to kak nor also, it was so good to meet you. and thank you also for having us over at your place. it was nice to meet your mom and her friend. :)

to both of you thank you for extending the warm hospitality :) *hugs*

to you both, insyallah, kalau ada jodoh and rezeki we'll definitely meet up again in MA :) as usual, more pics here :)
