pedas nyer mata membaca :)....

well...after reading meraq and hart nyer entry about ppl not updating and replying to comment...ishhh...terasa diri i ni..hahahahahhaha. yes i am so guilty of doing just that :) tak update berminggu2...tak reply berminggu2... :) no excuses really accept for the fact that am really quite tied up.



here are the itemized news for the past 3 weeks : ..hehe

1.we will be closing the clinic in 3 days time. yeay! sean will be working for the prison in ellsworth for 3 days out of the week. he will stay in an apt and come back here for the rest of the week. only in july it will be 3 days..come august it will be 4 days. how does this work with my schedule..it doesn't. suffice to say, come august, i may not be working at the library at all. because i cannot work in the evenings anymore..sebab takde orang nak jaga the girls. so we'll see how that will go. for now july kira okay.

2.i am mad as hell with his employess. let's not even go there..suffice to say..they think that they are the owners of the practice..lantaklah..nak tonggang terbalik ker..i don't care..can see that i am oh so bitter and angry kan..takper. so for what they had done..they are out of a job now. good for them. tak nak keje for a muslim infidel kan...some more married to a foreigner kan..now they got their wish. now they can go and try to find a job that give them full benefit lagi and salaried. tak masuk keje gaji masih dapat..now go and try to find a job like this one. wish them all the best of luck, NOT!

3.have ideas on having a small beading business :) ni kira only in my head. overhead is very low and minimal :) more like supporting my hobby. so we'll see. anlso discovered that there are a lot of two legged, air breathing sharks here. they get you while you are down. then they will step all over you..doesn't matter if you are a nice person or not. *more bitterness here...hahahahha*..but it's not so bad over all.

4.the girls are driving me nuts! ..hahahaha. sarina with wanting to do whatever SHE wants. experiments, research..beading..cycling..playing..and not wanting to do what she has to do..like chores..and cleaning up after herself. but to be fair..she is a very useful person. reliable when she wants to be...has a lot of initiative, only if it is to her own advantage..hehe. she nags like a professional..you need to listen to how she nags at sarah. which i will then let her know that she is the exact same way sarah is..which is - not listening to what she was told.

sarah is going through a phase..tak tau lah apa phase ni..but asyik melalak jer..one day i will give her a reason to really melalak..hahahha. well, she is that way all because, older sis is aggravating the sitaution. she is also cute and adorable..this are her own words. as you can see humility is not her forte. nak pakai baju lawa jer.. dapat chap stick..asyik tonyo her lips with it and her lips are constantly pursed so that she can keep feeling it on her lips..(this issue solved once i took it away from her and tossed all of it into the round file..heheheh). one evening, asked her where daddy is.. she replied ' daddy is upstairs. he is spanking himself '...note eh..this is a simpson reference..hehehe..nothing more..hahahhahahha.

5. thing my cat has a growth under his chin...which is making me nervous. will try to see the vet this afternoon.

7.all of us are gaining weight. what's with the added stress..hahaha...by all of us , i mean sean and i..and also mr. b. tak tau lah mr. b ni stress ker tidak..but i am thinking, he just likes to eat a lot..hahhaa.

8. my camera is dead. nope..not broken but juice dah habis and i cannot find the cable to it. i am blaming sean for this. he hooked up the new printer and dunno where he puts the cable yang lain2 tu. no got lots of pics i want to take..but now cannot. but now dah ada scanner...see..sama tak muka kiter ? :) actually this is my eldest niece. she looks just like sarina and sarah :) picture taken kat rumah my parents in kota tinggi.

9.will try and be better at updating this blog..hahahah.

a quiet saturday at the library...

well, today is a beautiful day but i am stuck here. it is sunny and the temp is in the cool 70's. apa nak buat..i dah agree to tukar date with another colleague. she forgot that her hub and her ada harley nyer konvoy trip today. but all is not lost :) maybe tomorrow or monday can go to kansas city ke or anywhere. the girls are having a good time so far with their father. the past couple of days, while i was trapped like a sewer rat in the basement sorting clothes, they were happily making and playing with paper aeroplanes. and as if it is not enough that they play in living room, sean discovered that if he clipped something heavy at the nose end of the plane, he could aim it at a specific target. so for the most part of the day..all i hear are heavy foot falls above me.

sarina said that she has been doing some research on the computer. she has been going to youtube to watch tornado clips as well those of volcanoes. so when i heard her banging on the keyboard yesterday afternoon, i asked her what was she doing. she said that she is playing a game om cartoon network. today is rest day..so she is not doing any research work. her research asst? sapa lah lagi kalau tak si sarah..

last night was funny. they were supposed to go to bed. then all of a sudden, sarah came down and told me that sarina had asked for the blanket that grandma had made for her. i told sarah that i tak tau mana blanket tu dah pergi but i know that it is somewhere upstairs. and also told her that sarina doesn't need that blanket anymore. tak lama kendian, i heard sarina crying..i pretended i did not hear it..but makin lama makin kuat..ni mmg lah dah sah nak mintak attn. so nak tak nak i got up and asked what's wrong..sarina said that she wanted the blanket..told her that i don't know where it is..then she said that sarah told her that it is down in the basement and that i have put the blanket in the bag to be given to NEK-CAP..ni kira organization for the unfortunate...lahhhh..bilang kat dia..that that is not true..and told her to stop it and just go to bed...then i heard sarah telling sarina something..and i then told sarah to stop it..and go to bed. pepandai jer dia buat kakak dia nangis...hehehe. aper lagi when i told sean, he was laughing so hard.

then went to my room, nengok sarah still not asleep. suruh tido ..kesak kesik i heard her in the other room. then i heard saying that she is hungry and wanted me to fetch something for her..lahhh..dah pukul 10.30 malam still hungry..ni lah, tak ingat makan. mentang2 summer..main kat luar..when i told her to eat ada jer bende lain yang dia nak. i masak sambal telur belado..dia tak nak makan..nak lauk sayur masak air..but mesti pedas punya...masak asam rebus tak nak makan..mesti nak asam pedas...cerewet seh..anyway, i thought that i tak nak kasi dia makan aper2 sebab dah malam..wahhh siap dia nyer nangis..the annoying whimpering..she wanted me to go get her a bowl of fruit loops with milk. i said i malas sebab it is already late... nak tak nak..i went down to get the packet of cereal that sarina had packed for their snack while playing outside.

so for a while i heard the crunching sounds of her consuming the cereal. then she decided that she had enough and came into my room with her toy jewellery. looked at her closely and nampak cam melekit lekit gitu on her hands and face..mintak diaper wipes..she said that sarina had brought it downstairs...so i just brushed her hands as best as i could..asked her if she had gotten crumbs on her bed..she said nope..no crumbs mommy..just sugar...lahhhhhh...so in the end she satyed in my bed for a while until she couldn't take it anymore and decided that she wanted to get to her own bed and fell asleep. when i went over to check..she was fast asleep and her bed was dusted with crumbs from the cereal and of course sugar...betul lah si sarah ni..

anyway, she is going through a phase now...where makan selalu tak habis..threatened her with no more food or snacks if she doesn't finish her food..that and saying no to everything. suruh buat ni ..no. suruh buat tu..no. only after i smacked her bottom once for saying no that now she will think twice. but she still says no..until i got up and then she will say..'i am kidding..and kelam kabut will do what i told her to do'...hehe.

well to those who are going on a trip to anywhere for the hols..have a good one :) to those who had just came back from a trip...welcome back :) and get back to work ....pshhhhhhhhhaww ! *sound of whip cracking*..hahahahahha... agak nyer lah tu bunyi whip cracking..ni lah ..nak buat sound effect pun tak tau...hehe.

sorilah seme..i tak ada gambar camping :) tak bawak kamera pun sebab nak kena charge and i tak tau mana itu cable..so ni ah gambar kiter gi hiking . just sean dengan i jer. the kids that time i think kat rumah their friends agaknyer. tadi ni ah baru habis gardening. it is always raining here. ingatkan nak till the land tadi but semalam hujan so tanah still soggy. so kena lah tunggu bila it is a bit dry. ni pun kat luar tengah gerimis.

a small brown snake sunning itself. they like to do this..kadang kat tetengah jalan they will sun themselves and we will have to try and avoid them.

nothing much to say lah..my mind is on other things right now. sibuk tengah prepare the documentation for the practice. more and more papers lah. pastu nak kena prepare sort of lesson plan for the summer reading activity. ni ah kalau ada rezeki will follow sean gi des moines, iowa for most part of next week. dia ader conference kat sana. we'll see. kalau i tak pergi..boleh lah i buat project kat luar nak expand my garden. sekarang ni my garden tengah terngot2 lah nak membesar. due to the cloudy weather, lambat seme nak tumbuh or membesar.

the generator..more like a mini dam trying to drain the water that flooded the area. can you see all that debris? it was bad flooding. the trail is actually closed sebab most of the northern part in under water.

just planted daisies, redistribute the thyme, tanam the black-eyed susans, basil and alih sana alih sini lah. :) what a stress reliever gardening is. kat depan rumah pulak, i tanam a hydrangea bush yang doesn't need a lot of sunlight. and some azaleas. too bad i didn't get to see the blooms this spring..insyallah next spring will get to see the flowers. peonies wahh bau harum. cam bau a bit like a cross between vanilla and rose gitu. anyway, here are the pictures :) nanti balik dari des moines, ini pun kalau i pegi kalau tak nanti i amik gambar garden and update another time. till then enjoy your weekends :)

beautiful red columbine. i ada similar type but mine is purple and yellow with a bit of blue.

the sign telling us it is closed but sean said to just take a look.

due to the rain, the trail is so luscious. these purple flowers grew along the trail in bunches.

the bench where we selalu rest jugak...see how it is set in the middle of these flowering plants. this is the first time i have ever seen it this way.

ahhh...don't forget to keep a look out for the old poisonous ivy.

this one looks like a type of baby's breath..but i think it belongs to the daisy family. this is in pink.

this one is the same as above cuma it is in white. i love these flowers.

wild black berries nyer plant have started to flower..mintak2 the next time pergi dah berbuah..yumms!

look at all that water that is being pumped out of the fields..or this is like a creek. tempat yang takder air was full of it this time round.
