nostalgic habis lah malam ni...

tadi baru taruk komen kat sri nye blog. tanyer dia apsal dah malam tapi tak leh tido..hehe. ni i pulak yang camtu. ni lah kalau dah start surfing pakai laptop ni..siaplah tak tau pukul berapa nanti i tido. tengah surfing you tube, carik lagu jepun..my fav song of the moment. pastu kan..type ler lagu melayu...wahhhh...banyak jugak seh diorang upload.

memula i type KRU..nak nengok jugak lah apa yang baru kan. so saw the three of them and cam tak kenal gitu. but then could make out a couple of them and couldn't recognise the third one. nengok betul2 then realised that it is the same person..tatau pulak nama dia but can see that he has gained weight lah..hahahha. i ni ketawakan orang but samalah gain weight. nak nak time winter ni :)

then type malay songs pulak..ada lah keluar video tarzan..but lagu zainal abidin nyanyi..didn't know that they did a voice over eh..and then got this song entah apa tah..lagu slow lah..jiwang habis. saw that it was from 1992...tapi tak habis dengar. don't think can listen to it fully. it reminds me too much of time kat my parents nyer rumah kampung. for some reason, tu lah time dengar lagu melayu most of the time..coz we watch a lot of malaysian nyer channel. nengok muzik muzik lah and all that. then terjumpa pulak video spoon with that song rindu serindu rindunyer...lagi tak boleh dengar...dah feeling memalam buta..hehe.

and then kan...guess what i terjumpa ..lagu search lah..isabella...wahhhhhhhhhh..itu lagi punya nostalgic..tak ingat when that song was released but that reminds me of my late bro. funny how songs , whether the ones that you like or don't like will remind you of a specific event or ppl. and that will then trigger your memory and you find yourself thinking about it in minute detail. you seem to be able to remember every single thing that had happened during that time period. hmmm..sometimes tu, ter wish jugaklah to be able to turn back time. kalau based on einstein nyer theory..if we can move fast enough kan backwards or forwards..you might be able to either go into the future or back into the past...but then..it remains as that. a theory jer..sebab we all know that we cannot get back the times that we have lost...:(

sekarang pulak tengah dengar m.nasir..mustika. i think dalam ramai malay male performer..i like him the most. dunno eh..maybe i like his songs ker..or that he has what it takes to be a successful performer, song writer etc. etc. i also like the fact that tak banyak gossip pasal dia..hehe...eh eh..terjumpa pulak bidio jamal abdillah..dia tengah perform dengan mawi..sape eh si mawi ni..but cam kelakar jugaklah the guy. oh diroang nyanyi lagu kekasih awal dan akhir..not my fav song by jamal abdillah..but then i pun dah lupa apa lagu yang dia nyanyi..hehehe..but sedih jugaklah dengar..sebab my mom suka dengar suara dia. wahh...trio dengan m nasir lah..nyanyi ghazal untuk rabiah...lah i ni..dah pukul 1 malam dengar lagu ghazal..hehehehe.

ni lagi lama lagu dia..teringat time secondary school..bloodshed- srikandi cintaku..teringat dengar radia memalam kat rumah my father nyer kawan..kira sedara angkat lah tu. time tido sana, mesti dengar radio melayu part permintaan ramai..mesti ada nyer lagu slow rock. jiwang habis lah tu kira..hahahahahha... i think tu jer time period yang i kinda like listening to malay nyer rock songs lah...but then after that..i think i went back to listening to new wave nye songs. teringat oso my mom suka dengar lagu ' apo khabao ekau jang'..tak tau lah sapa nyanyi lagu ni..

anyway..happy seh..found this vid. dah almost two years cari tak jumpa but jumpa kat sini pulak :) nak try carik album dia pun tak jumpa online..anyway enjoy..i have still to make up my mind nak tido or nak terus surf..hehe

winter is finally here..

well, winter arrived two days ago. from a nice warm fall, the temp suddenly plunged into the negatives. yesterday, the temp was -10 celscius but when you add the windchill factor of -25 degrees celsius..you can bet that it's very2 cold. brrrr.. but funny enough though..there was no snow. there was a bit of sleet and slight flurry and that's that. i walked to the post office to mail off stuff and the wind was horrible. had to walk behind buildings to protect me from the cold winds.

this morning we , that is sarina , sarah and i walked to school. normally i would wear my hat, which would protect my ears. this morning however, i didn't wear it . was somewhat late for the math club meeting. see, i volunteered to help the 3rd and 4th grade kids playing math games. i volunteered, to see what i could play with sarina to improve her math skills. at least something i could do with her. anyway, the wind was so cold, that my ears were hurting. all i could think off is what would happen if i had frostbite..hehe. but doubt it. after we finished the meeting, the weather seems to warm up a bit. well the temp is still -10 but since the sun was shining, it was not so bad. it was actually very nice.



i got a new cookbook. recipes from lebanon,turkey and morocco. all because we went to wichita this past weekend and we stumbled upon the turkish cafe called cafe istanbul. i had chicken kebabs with bulghur and white rice with the hummus and sean had the gyros and there was the salad and soup...just talking about it makes my mouth water. the chef is a turkish while the wife is a german lady. she was very nice. she said that sara looked like her grandaughter. her daughter married a guy from laotia.




wonder when we will be going back there..yummms! so that is why i got myself a cookbook from that region. most of the mediterranean cook books here concentrates on greek food. don't get me wrong..greek food is fine but it is not the same as say food from turkey or jordan . but still i miss the hawker centre food from home lah...this evening i found this online site and guess what...they sell twisties...wahhhh..i went mouse clicking crazy. found this site by accident really. all because i was looking for maggi curry. all the sites that i went to dah habis lah. sib baik this place ada..terubat jugak tekak ni..hahah. ni nanti nak email this place to order some keropok from terengganu lah..hehehe. leh jual kat sini eh :) okaylah...nanti nanti i will citer about the accident that we saw right in front of us while driving in wichita.
