cats galore...

nengok ..muka sparky tengah boring sebab i nak amik gambar dia so had to hold her up..haha

okay.. it is time for all to meet the latest edition to the family..well, a couple of edition lah. tuari kan i cakap we got this black kitten just because i wanted one. we got furby..he is the black yang kat bawah tu. this one here is sparky..ni seme si sarah nyer pasal lah. i dah citer kan kat you all how we got her. anyway, we got back from the vet. that time sean baru balik from registering the car and had to go for haircut. bagus jugaklah sebab the person from the vet nyer place said that she is going to deliver her over. so gedebak gedebuk..the kitten sampai..the girls were excited. still is..asyik peluk and carry the kittens around jer..anyway, bila sean balik jer..wahhh..tak menyempat nak bilangkat bapak diorang about it. sarina let sarah tell sean what had happened and in her own garbled way of telling her story..sean cam show no reaction. so when he came into the kitchen, i asked him if he understood what sarah was trying to say..hehe

her eyes are so huge :) cam tercekik lah sparky kat gambar ni eh..she is so soft and cuddly :)

he said..something about a cat and lost the rest of it. well i told him about this kitten that sarah found outside..and sean dah start geleng kepala dia and smiled..anyhoo, i told him what the vet had said. sparky had this, by the way, is this kitty nyer nama..it is a she :) just like spot :) anyway, she had this big dried scab on her neck..tu yang buat i send her to the vet..and also before bringing her in, i nak make sure she is okay..no fleas ker aper ker to infect the others. when she got back, i nampak the vet had cleaned the wound and it is a big gash...well, looks like something had mauled her and the wound has started to fester. they had to dig underneath her skin sebab some flies had already laid their eggs in her wound and a larvae of a fly was living in her neck..sib baik sehhh..kalau tak kesian sparky. anyway, after listening to the story sean pun cakap..ah ah tak kan nak just let her be..have to save her lah..and further more..just look at that cute face..how can anyone not fall in love with her..hehe. she is so naughty..very playful..memalam tercakar sarah nyer face..so kena spanking from me lah..the kitten that is..haha.

ni dia tengah main dengan furby :) amik gambar ni like at 2.00 am last night. i suka nengok they all play together.kelakar :)

i think sparky is just like a few weeks older than furby. furby to yang my little black kitten. got him like 3 weeks ago..sekarang still small but a bit bigger than when we got him. this one lagi best..i saw him in the cage at the humane society. ni kira time i bawak the other cats for vaccinations kan..while waiting for sean to pick us up, i thought, why not let the girls look at the kitetns. lawa2 seme i nengok..there are this litter of kittens with sable coloured fur..then one that looks exactly like mr. b..and hobbes..then went further in saw this little black kitten all by itself. prancing about in the cage..he was the only one that was friendly..yang lelain tu wahh hissing cam nak rak...hehe. anyway, i looked at this long haired cat with small ears and said to myself..i need to convive sean that i want another kitten :) ni before sparky lah.

look at mr. b's nyer butt..hehe...nengok perut dia yang memboyot :) he is 19 lbs.

called the vet nyer place and told her that i wanted this kitten..she was asking me if it is the one with extra toes..i went like.....hah?! a mutant cat ker?..hehe. and true enough when i picked him up..his two front paws have extra toes. so when he walks it looks like a human hand with thumbs :) cam dia tengah pakai mittens gitu. according to the vet, he came from a litter of 3. two male and a female. female was normal and got picked first. the two males are the ones with the extra toes.

he is so affectionate..tak padan seh..main kejar kaki one time almost terpijak him one..

terpikir jugak..maybe it is like the hemingway cats..they are all 6 toed. but no lah..ni entah aper nyer cat i pun tak tau ..but he is our first long haired cat. makan tak nerenti. he is all belly and fur..and sean took one look at him and said..what a furball..hence the name furby :)

nampak macam i cekik dia eh in this picture..hahahah..he is so adorable. like i said..i went into the kitchen one time..i saw him eating the wet food..keluar lagik sekali after 10 minutes..he has his face into the dry food bowl..habis makan gi berak..he is so small that he belum pandai nak turun naik tangga. sparky pasal outdoor cat kan so dah pandai panjat2...yelah dah lama training survival skill kat bawah my deck :)



look at how small he is compared to mr. b..memula mr. b tak suka but he never pukul any of the new kitties. in that regard i am lucky lah..kalau tak imagine kena quarantine them dulu . but so far so good..cuma hissing at each other jer..yang best si thing lah..any cat that comes near him..he will take off..but he is my number one hunter..not that many spiders and no tikus or bugs in the house. that's the advantage of having cats..nak nak with the poisonous brown recluse nyer spider.

also, kan..ingatkan nak citer pasal kucing baru i ni..but then teringat pulak citer sarah..ada2 jer tau si sarah ni. her fav outfit for summer asyik nak pakai swim suit jer. swin suit dia yang when she was a baby pun dia kata dia masij muat padahal i nengok cam sendat gitu. anyway, i ni manalah pegi swimming pool nyer orang kan..lainlah kalau takder manusia kat situ. so sometimes when i am watering the plants..i pakai itu sprinkler..so one day si sarah ni pun asked me if it is okay for her to play in the sorinkler..i cakap sukahati lah..dah malas dah i..penat jaga diaorang by myself..from morning till night..no quiet time langsung..which made me think of you kak za..camana lah you eh single mother....how you cope with everything with less ...take my hat off to you lah kak za..itu pun kalau i pakai topi eh..haha


anyway, dia main lah kat luar tu while sarina watches her..also sarina nyer duty kena move the sprinkler from one part of the yard to another. ni lah ..i berleter2 kat sarina..boleh harap betul anak i ni..cuma when she gets distracted tu jer lah yang pening kepala i..anyway..i nengok si sarah ni dah covered dengan black soil..tanyer jugak si sarina..how come she has dirt on her..satu badan seh all over her..sarina cakap dia tak tau..i ni main suspek jer si kakak amik soil main lotar2 kat adik dia..heheh. then masuk mandi kansarah baru teringat..the sprinkler tu actually is dirty..hahahhaha..sebab when we water the plants it got wet and hence the soil will be sticking to the insides of it..so kalau water is forced out of it..the soil would also come out..laaahhh...dah bertambah keje i...hehe. kotor the tub...so after thata...no more playing in the sprinkler..ingatkan nak belikan diorang the slip and slide so they can play kat tepi rumah ni.. :) but sean pulak cakap it is too near the street..alh dah tu camana pulak bebudak nak main air kan..isshh..but then the upside of being a weekend wife..i can do whatever i want and he is not there to lecture me...yeeeee haaaaa!...hehehehhe

another update

so much for my updating this blog regularly sampai kena tegur dengan sri..asyik mata panas jer..hahahahha. these are some of the events that happened between then and now.


1.well, my computer is still down. called a couple of places here to see if they carry spare motherboard or chip and none has it. they only sell a complete system that run for hundreds of dollars. apa dah..i only need too swap the cards. so maybe tomorrow, can get the name of the shop in kansas city and get what we need. turns out that we need new motherboard and new ram and new power supply and a lot of new things. maklumlah our system is 6 years old built on an obsolete hardware..sdram and what not. anyway, we better get it fix quick because i hate having to come to the library and scan the documents that needed scanning.

2.remember i blame sean for losing the adapter to the digicam..well, i have to take that back. actually i am at fault..hahahhaah. i went to plug it behind the shelf and left it there thinking that since it is already at one place, no need to go hunting around for it kan..well, goes to show that leaving it at a place where nobody touches pun can make you go hunt for it everywhere. so digicam back online. took a few pics, but cannot download to the main system. reason see above. lap top ada but not reliable. every now and then can use it but have to smack the keyboard hard to make it come on and also after it crashes.

3.we got a new vehicle on the advice of our attorney. we had a 13 year old nissan that runs well, but biasalah minor problems here and there. so we got ourselves a honda fit or what over there you'd call jazz. like the hatchback..not as powerful as the nissan but gets good gas mileage and very roomy in the interior. hugs the curves nicely too. and because it is a brand new car, sean has taken extra precautions against getting it dirty..like putting towels on the backseat before putting in the car seat for sarah and the booster seat for sarina...no eating or drinking is allowed in the car....but i had to make sean break that rule sebab it is ridiculous for him to take long drives with him and not let us eat snacks..ceh!...these are some of the reasons why i do not like owning a new car sebab when it is new..every little scratch kira cam terguris hati gitu...for sean lah not me..i tak kisah sangat..we have children and children are messy..hahahhaa. anyway, to him that is his second wife..lantaklah..

4. we got ourselves a new kitten twice. twice because, we got furby, two weeks ago. he is like 5 weeks old and got him from the humane society. cutest little thing..nothing but a big belly and all fur. he's the long haired type and when he eats..he gets his face really dirty. and talking about children being messy..same for kittens. his face will be caked with dried food..have to wash his face with wet towel everyday. i managed to convince sean that i needed another cat..one that is small so that we can train him to be like mr.b..hehe. ni kira just in case mr.b pass away lah..not that he is that old..but just because i wanted a kitten.

we got another one today..this one sean doesn't know about it yet and i bet he is going to flip. the upside of living apart..hahahhaa..i can do whatever i want when he is not around. but he is coming back tonight and the new kitten will be coming back from the vet tomorrow..so maybe i can sneak her into the basement and let her live there for a while eh..hahaha...and act all serprais when sean sees it...kitten?..in our basement?..oh my god it's a miracle...hahahhahaha. sarah lah found this kitten under our deck and for some reason, the kitten likes her and she managed to hold it. will tell you about her antics later. so, we now have 5 cats...well, the last one pending..maybe kalau sean merajuk..i taruk kat rumah sebelah lah..hehehe

5.i know this is repetitive..but have to include this point which is so very valid. have i told you that the girls are driving me nuts? anyway, managed to get new photos of them taken by the local photographer. you can see them here. anyway, this morning, i got up and started working outside. the small garden that i have on the side needed watering. i was tooling around when sarina came out. she just woke up. asked her where sarah was and she said that sarah's inside. so didn't think much about it. then i went in and the phone rang. the library had called. first thing i thought that i had gotten my schedule mixed up and had forgotten to go to work. nope..that wasn't it. deb said, sarah is there..and i went like..sarah?...ni sarah mana ni yang i ada appt kat leberi and din't remember about it. i asked deb..my sarah..yep..susan called and yes she is down there with susan in her pjs...lahhhhhhhh...so walked over to the leberi and there she was..sitting down with susan, reading a book in her dora the explorer nyer pyjamas and flip flops...lah mak......apa lagi sarina kene berleter lah..this is all her doing ..she will go out of the house without telling me and then now sarah dah terikut. that and the fact that she failed to mentioned to me till later that she told sarah that i was at work when sarah first got up..tak ker nak cari nahas si kakak ni kan...then..still the same day ni..lat an hour or so...i got out of the office and was looking around for sarah. couldn't find her...yelled at the top of our lungs and i can hear her but canot pin point the source of it. then i heard the screen door to the back creaking...SHE WAS OUTSIDE AGAIN ALL BY HERSELF...

wahhhhhhhh....macam nak bukak pencak silat that time jugak lah dengan si sarah ni..but then terside tracked sebab she pointed out to this cutest little kitten. sejuk kejap hati..but still kena berleter one..after that incident..she i tak kasi can habis..has to be where i can see her all the time. sarina is the same way..too adventurous and very independent. alih2 jer kat atas pokok lah...ride her bike a block away lah..this idea lah that idea lah... and kalau she takut kena marah..she will send her emissary dulu to test the water. like last night..sarah came down saying that she's hungry and would like to have a granola bar..i said nope..to late for that..she will then yell at sarina..sarina mommy said now...we cannot have the granola bar..then when i confront sarina..mati2 tak mengaku..hehehe..bak kata my parents..perangai dalam kocek lah...except pat saraj walking to the library by herself. nasib baik it is just 2 houses down..and the ppl at the library know her..tak ker gabra kalau i didn't work there and they do not know who i am..

6.my cats are doing okay..well thing and mr.b..actually both of them are suffering from the same allergy. that is why they have excessive dander and are shedding like crazy. so not a growth like i thought it was..phewwww!..syukur alhamdullilah..lega sikit. so the vet kasi diorang antibiotic and so far it looks a lot better. thing was cool jer. spot was cagey when we brought them to the vet for annual vaccination. mr. b nyer turn i had to work so sean took him..apa lagi..he went and peed in the carrier..our most scaredy cat..he is at 19 pounds. and sean said..well at least he is lighter...told sean he is still overweight..like the both of us..hahahhaa. but mr. b at his heaviest topped the scale at 21 pounds. my friends all love him..said how beautiful he is..and yes mr. b is beautiful..heheheh. cuma now i takut dia kena fatty liver jer...like what hobbes got..that was what did it for her..too fat a cat is not good. but dunno how to make mr. b lose weight now...but we'll see..so long as he is healthy that is all i ask.

anyway...dah too long an entry pulak...i know kena tagged by hartini..will do it once i am done with my duties kat sini eh :) also next time will let you know on how i cope with being away from sean for the first week..hehehhe.
