alhamdullilah..syukur... :)

it is finally over..i am safe..hehehe! alhamdullilah x1000..hehe!

the source of my trouble ...

this is what causing all the grief! but at the same time..alhamdullilah jugaklah i got it.

i cannot wait for this week to be over! well make it last week and this week and this week had only just begun. *sigh*

anyhoo..this is just a simple test for me lah..compared to the news that i got last friday about a good friend of ours. a father of 3, only 40 years old has been diagnosed with stage IV cancer and it has spread to his lungs and brain. they are suspecting that it may have spread to most part of the body as well. just when you think that you are getting ahead in life and stuff happens.

just like this experience of mine..kecik jer..the most insyallah will be dealt with by this friday. but for my friend..i cuma boleh doakan jer that all will be as well as it could be for him and his family.

as much as i may sound like i am upset and what not..actually kan..i am very happy. to know that i have ppl that i can rely on in times of need. :) for spiritual stuff and well as the physical world stuff eh..hehe!

she is 10..alhamdullilah :)

well..another year has gone by and she is now 10 :) double digit already..hehe! have talked to her about the biological changes to the body and that she needs to tell me if something happens..al-maklumlah...mak i dulu very conservative..hehe! i learn most stuff from my friends or school..hahah!

anyway, it was a low key celebration..but she was very happy. bapak dia very generous lah..yelah..he so manja the two girls :) in his own way of course. for dinner..sarina requested fish tacos..tak amik gambar pulak..sebab i dah tak sabar nak makan my ketam with the kicap cili padi. punyalah khusyuk makan ketam sampai ter cut my thumb on the shell. but that did not stop me from eating...hehe. told sarina to get a plaster and sambung balik ni..haha!

she is very happy with her cake. white cake with italian meringue butter cream :)

of course she also requested a cake. she asked me if i can make a squirrel cake..i cakap..mana boleh..so then she said can i make a spongebob cake. i said i can try..and ta-dah..here is the spongebob cake..where spongebob looked like he's on crack..hahahahah!

spongebob on crack...sarah kept saying that this is an ugly spongebob..i pun boring kan..send her out of the kitchen..hehe!

well, we went camping for the last time this summer. the girls and sean are burnt. it was windy but when the sun shines..tak kisah lah windy ker tidak..you will get burn. banyak mana pun you lumur the sun tan lotion, it will get to you somehow. well..just to let you all know..this is my current fav dish. it is called bibimbap..a korean dish with lots and lots of fresh veges and well as the pickled kimchi! i simply love their bean sprouts tau..senang nak buat. just add a bit of oil then add the light soy sauce and a bit of sesame oil..sedap you! makan dengan lauk asam pedas pun syiok!

bibimbap...i know, i know..it rhymes with jatuh berdebab..hahaha! okay silly joke :)

the cucumber..tu i buat macam pickle sikit2 lah..alah macam kita nyer acar simple..just add salt, sugar and vinegar :) the carrots..just grate it like that. and the meat kan..i beli ( or you can get the recipe for the marinade) at the korean store, for the premade marinade..and just stir fry it oh high heat! and ta- dah..bibimbap :)

inilah dia..the kimchi..basically pickled cabbages with peppers and garlic and vinegar. cannot eat too much...the smell can come out of your pores the next day..it is that strong..i can only eat a bit at a time..hehe! talk about garlic breath..haha!

no lah..mana ada banyak perkara yang nak di cakap...balik2 the same things over and over again. anyway, i discovered that facebook makin lama makin sibok sehhhh! pening kepala kadang2. and i think sri is right that here it is quiter. this is not to say that i am going to be here often ..hehe. i doubt that i will be as active as before..as usual..kena tengok mood lah kan :)

my fav cake for this summer..blueberry cream cheese coffee cake with pecan struesel! yummmmss! calories pun yum jugaklah..haha!

fall is just round the corner and well..school will start soon. both girls will be in school and i will have time to myself. i think i nak start diy projects around the house lah. one of them is to repaint this whole house and get rid of the clutter which is mostly sean nyer doing. insyallah..it will work. :)))

my fav pasta dish of the moment..aglio olio or something like that. simple jer the ingredients..anchovies in oil..saute in olive oil with lots of garlic and hot pepper flakes...i love adding broccolini or broccoli to this dish :)

and this is sean's fav pasta dish with the tomatoes that we got out of the garden :) fresh tomatoes with pasta and basil pesto :)

am i already feeling better about it...i think so :)) it's better this way. maybe this is what i was looking for and ta-dah...here it is :) slowly but surely eh...hehe. bak kata apek kat pasar..man man ahhh! :)
