well..semenjak dua menjak ni kan..macam malas gitu nak hapdet ini blog..tak tau lah kenapa. nak kata takder cerita , ada jugaklah sikit2..hahaha! but rasa2 macam penat lah. last week jer 4 hari dah takder kat rumah..and nampak2 nyer this thursday sampai saturday mungkin takder kat rumah jugak.

anyway, interesting thing happened during christmas..apa yang i telah saspek, turned out to be true. within a span of just a few minutes...rasa2 nyer lah..years of misunderstanding and confusion macam hilang serta merta. it is so nice to see sean being so happy to be with his siblings :) they all seme macam heran..amacam perkara ni boleh berlaku and mengapa dan bagaimana boleh meleret2 sampai 10 tahun..hehehehe! but we all know the source kan :) wahhhh..dah macam drama swasta..tak sangka kat kansas ni ada drama macam gini lah..hee hee hee!

anyway, alhamdullilah..insyallah with all this kan..hopefully, their relationship with strengthen eh :) ameeeeeennn.

well..lepas krismas jer..his parents celebrated their 50th wedding annivesary. so i buatlah appetisers sikit..for krismas i buat kuih makmur and tart. tart lah peberet..while makmur close second. then for the appetisers kan..i buat epok2 sardin, which was a big hit in two houses..i buat pedas2..hahah! ada yang tak leh makan..hahahha! i also buat bakwan..another hit..hummus..not so and i buat my own meatballs with my homemade pasta sauce..pun they all like :) all in all..it was a very enjoyable get together lah :)

lupa pulak..this year kita beraya pakai baju kurung adik i kirim :) nak pakai raya lepas tak sempat kan..so kita tiga beranak boria time krismas..hahahah!

haah, baru nak tanya pasal baju merah tuh, tpi u dah explain towards the end of the post plak. At first i ingat anak2 u pakai jubah!
Baju kurung merah - lawa anak beranak pakai sepasang. Makanan pun banyak, apa lagi makan2 aja lah, nak keluar cuaca sejuk. I sekarang simpan kobis/carrot/coriander leaves all the time. Kalau lapar2 buat bakwan aja. I fried them with very little oil. Not deep fried. I made some when MIL and Ernie came, Ernie said he can finish the whole plate. Memang betul..I pun boleh kasi habis satu pinggan!!
Sayang betul Sarina dengan atuk dia and Sarah looked really sweet. But where's your picture? You kena beli baju kurung lebih2 when you balik kampung!

Oh my, i admire the table setting so pretty !anyway i was thinking of making epok epok sardines for tomorrow gathering..but m not sure if they will be able to tahan pedas and now tengah rasa malas plus penat, almost nak terbaring baring at the kitchen.
And i was going to make hummus and kebab but decided against it, since i doubt i will have the energy to make my flatbreads as well! So far , I have already prepared baked ravioli, nasi briyani gravy for layering tomorrow and berry parfaits for dessert. For finger foods m planning to use up my saltines, confirm hantam style ! LOL
ni dah bagus...u introduced epok2 and bakwan to org2 kansas... sib baik u tak kasi dorang gigit cili padi dgn bakwan, that's how orang kat indonesia makan bakwan. :)

Sounds like you guys had a ball of a time at the in laws with the food and all ...esp when they can taste your cooking and experience a different cultural food experience during the holidays....it must be really nice.

kak za - samalah...itu cabbage and carrots staple kat dalam esbob :) i love hat bakwan..so yummy! cicah dengan cili sos! the girls mmg love their grandparents...but more story later..hehe. i nyer gambar..everyone was so busy eating and what not..gambar i tak ada amik..but i have one of the family pictures during the 50th celebrations :) will put that up insyallah :)

fir - i was laughing so hard about nak terbaring kat kitchen..hahahahahah...i know the feeling all too well time raya kat singapore..hahaha! by the time habis siap everything, i just felt like wearing my most comfortable home clothes and laying down instead of dressing up..haha! your spread sound yummy! i bet they enjoyed it a lot!

salams zee :)yeah..it was kinda nice. but it was comfortable wearing that after all the food fest..haha! i know..i am actually looking for a red coat can you believe it..me yang tak suka kaler red..but i do have a favourite red scarf though..hahahah! they really enjoyed it when i cooked our food. cuma tu lah..it is not as often that made stuff for them..but who knows..this year might be a bit different :)
