alamak sarah ni..susah lah...it's like 11.00 pm and she is still not asleep. still running around chasing the cats..well at least dapat furby so that she can hug a cat to sleep with her. and sean pulak, likes to make her cry especially at night. all he did was hug her and not letting her go and she will wail like crazy. eiii..pening kepala lah dengar budak nangis ...he said that all he wanted to do is to tire her out...
anyway, back to my title above...ingatkan mmg nak beli dapur gas baru lah..maklumlah pindah rumah kan..but then decided that we wanted to save money and also, i really like my oven lah. it has a warming feature and all that crap. when we bought it 6 years ago, it was one of the top of the line for the smooth cooktop and have this duobake crap thingy which i still can't really tell what function it serves. all i know, is that it is a very very good ahben..hehe.
anyway, the control panel got jacked when we moved it and the front panel was broken a bit. i can't remember if i had told this story before, but anyway, to make story short, it will cost me more to repair this oven than buying a new one. really no joke..go figure. which brings me to this little factoid...it seems like sometimes it is better to just buy some mid range stuff..no need to go out and get the most advance thing on the planet when after all is said and done, ultimately, it is not worth your while repairing. so i am trying to find a basic gas oven this time, with unsealed burner with at least having one burner that is 14,000 btu lah..sad to say..it is bloody hard to find one. most of them have sealed burners and have read that it is not as powerful as the unsealed burner. anyway..that is the headache i am facing..did i ever mention that i hate shopping..hehehe. yeah i don't like looking for stuff..i only like online shopping for books jer..haha
today we bought our upright freezer. we need it soonest possible to transfer all the frozen meat that we have still in the old house. found the cheapest for a 20 cubic feet of space online for a great price. also found out that delivery charges is also not bad about $63 from kansas city to ellsworth. but guess when they said that the earliest possible day that they can have it delivered here?..november 28...alamak..punya lah lama...so nak tak nak kena gi and collect it ourselves. what to do...so we figured when we rent the U-Haul truck...we will go up there and collect the thing sekali lah..well sean will go with Gerry. i think i nak dok kat sini jer lah and wait for them.
just now went to wichita to look for more shelving stuff. to date we have spent like $350.00..this is just for the bookshelves. and it is nowhere near completion. in the old house, we spent quite a bit on a beautiful walnut bookshelf . custom made by a carpenter over there. this house, apa lagi..due to the layout and it being a newer and a much much smaller place the the previous one, we decided to go with regular shelf brackets and pine planks. it looks sturdy and i like it. the house will probably be covered with bookshelves once all is said and done.
bought some closet organiser stuff for the girls' room. i also bought a gallon of paint for the living room and i have started to paint it. it is this bright green colour . unlike the tropical green on the other house. initially ingatkan nak paint some mediterranean colour..like burnt sienna or something with some wall effects. but because, they do not have the shelve brackets in black, i told sean that we change the wall colour lah. so the top half of the walls will be book shelves and the bottom will be this vivid green. cam kaler sarina's old room. golden cricket. more or less i have picked out the colours for the all the rooms. so we'll see. this house will be a no brainer to paint lah..tak macam the other place..cam nak rak i paint..hehe..okaylah..better go now. everyone is falling asleep already except me :) tomorrow if sean is feeling alright, we will go up to hiawatha and get more stuff. okaylah..all of you out there, have a great weekend okay :)

alamak...dah type respond hilang begitu sahaja..hehe. i typed that this house ada option to buy and i thnink sean is interested in buying it lah. it is to our advantage i think, sebab one thing house is much smaller..a lot smaller. the roof needs fixing and the heating and cooling unit are old too. we have a newer heating and cooling thing that we can have from the house next door kat hiawatha. i think right now, we are not willing to spend a bomb on housing and housing costs over here is crazy for kansas lah..ada ker in this small town houses go for $100 k over...macamlah ellsworth ni some big town..hehe
kesian ahben...tulah..bende lama sayang kalau dah rosak...mcm i nyer yg lama...lagik 'paindul' sebab all due to my carelessness..terbiar plastic cover kat dlm cair...well, sebab tak perasan lah tu..trus rosak gitu jer...sib baik ada jula ahben murah, mr morries..ehee..tapi takleh taruk byk2 kat dlm..kena bakar apa2 kecik2 n sikit2...anyways..i ni bukannye pro baker cam u arr..eheh..misik tetakut nak cuba tu ni...huhu..

Yelah, Rosma.....kita berjalan raya tak habis-habis gitu. This week break sekejap sebab bebudak primary school exams. Nanti weekend sambung jalan lagilah.
Oven pat rumah kita ni masih bertahan after 16 years. CUma the front glass panel ob the door aje dah pecah when it suddenly dropped to the ground.
best nyer jalan raya :) cepat eh bebudak dah exams. tup tup dah nak dekat end of the year already.
untung oven masih bertahan..ni kalau i tak pindah the oven will still be okay..but ni sean nyer style of moving..habis..now we can't even turn on the oven.
