been trying it out. so far so good lah..i just use the auto nyer setting. but am trying to read through the manual on the other stuff as well. now need to just get a macro lens. i pun tak sure apa itu macro lens..but from what sean told me..it will allow me to do more close ups than just what i have right now :) but that can wait lah eh..hehe. actually the photographer in the house is sean. he was in a photography club and won some competition when he was in school. but now i think he is into astronomy. we got one on ebay for half the price but it is just the basics. insyallah sometimes in the future he would like to get the one that is computerised.
anyway, here is my handiwork. i am having a bit of a problem trying to resize the pictures. i need my photoshop elements..but tertinggal pulak kat hiawatha. this one her that i have is HP Premiere..which is okay if you have a smaller image file. but for this one..alamak..dah resize pun still too big. so nak tak nak have to use an online nyer site. which is okay but wayy slow lah :) but then bende free so tak leh lah complain banyak2 kan :) so here it is :) more pictures are available here. :)

ni gambar from semalam when i first got the camera. she was crying sebab daddy said she cannot have the kek tapak kuda yang tak macam tapak kuda..hehe.because she only eat the center and i found the rest of the cake belakang kerusi this morning..hehe..nampak tu bukti ternyata yang dia makan the nutella center jer..hehe
my neon green living room. i love the colour. very warm and cheery during the bleak and dreary winter :) ni pun semalam i amik.

look at the plump and juicy raspberries that we got at the super grocery store..well at sam's club..hehe. they were delicious.

Congrats!!!!!! That Nikon is a good model, so you'll end up with really good results. Kena main2 sikit with the manual settings, can get some really nice effects. Good that Sean can teach you and pass his knowledge :D
I think the Small size pix are also too big for the screen, kan. I use Picasa to manage my pics - free and can download www.picasa.com :) Can crop and auto email resize to your photo album. But cannot resize just there. Not sure if the update now allows that... Then u can do some editing also... kasi gelap or lighten the pic, etc etc... try lah, see if u like it, since it is free.
Tak payah pakai macro lens these days unless u nak ambik gambar insects... what i do is i use Manual and then set to Large, lepas tu crop... ;) but tak yah crop all the way, nanti the pic a bit noisy. will save u lots of dollars. Get the 50mm lens though - can do reverse macro with a ring [not expensive] and take pix of insects and when you're not doing reverse, the normal 50mm can take beautiful portraits of Sarah!! Cute betul lah that pic of her. So she's been eating the chocolate part and throwing behind the couch??? *hahaha*

I ni terrible with photography and just petik asal boleh aje. Gambar turn out macam mana pun tak kisah asal can see sudah.
