another day of baking and bookeeping..

penat seh...today cam very ambitious gitu..i knew that i had to finish the stuff for the accountant kan..but rasa nak buat jugak lah this new recipe for this bread. for once i thought yelah..bake something somewhat healthier than just cupcakes kan..heheheh...but after baking the bread..terus jer capai this new book nak try out a new recipe for..jeng jeng jeng jeng...apalagi..cupcake lah..hahahha...betul jugak nanti kata uncle mat melayu..nanti balik sana dah tak kenal sarah dengan sarina sebab dah gemuk...heheh.

but not to worry..they all tak suka this cupcake..sebab nyer it is lemon poppyseed. apa lah these girls..these are the best combination for cake ker, shortbread ker..and it is lemon poppyseed :) furthermore they are like me..we are more interested in how the cupcake will look in the end..hahahah. and like the red velvet..these will be finding new homes tomorrow afternoon at the prison :) sean will be bringing it with him to give them to his assistant and the guards there. the bread however, is a keeper. sean said that he does not want to eat store bought bread anymore...hehehe..he always says that after i baked home made bread..but as with everything else, kalau bitamin M datang kan..haii..makan roti dalam bag plastic jer lah.hehe

the outcome...the crust looks nice :) actually this is one of the best recipes that i have ever tried for white bread. it uses so much less sugar than the amish white bread recipe that i have.

the girls pulak, the whole day, macam spongebob lah..asyik main karate jer..all i hear is sarah going haaiiiyaahh! haaaiyahhh!..siap dengan the moves and all. sarina pun sama jugak..so i felt like mr. crabs in one episode where all he did was to tell them to stop. very tiring lah..have to go after them like that. this is the downside to having a smaller home..but then again, i thought about my parents with the eight of us..never a moments peace..mana bergaduh adik beradik...i terpekik terpekau...hmmmm...so not so bad lah my situation ni..only two of them jer :)

sarah helping me with the rolling of the dough..she said that it was hard..tu lah kepo sangat nak tolong..hehe

this friday dah nak kena pergi hiawatha..not looking forward to it lah. nak kena remove everything....let's see..the bed frame upstairs..most of my books..like maybe 4 or 5 boxes of books, sarina nyer room..more books, the playroom downstairs...more books and toys..the office..books and toys and cds...the linen closet..pinggan mangkuk kat dapur...hmmm..can we finish it within a day..we'll see...and then kena pergi the storage unit..nak kena cari all the files that the patients have requested`..then kena cari this one tub where part of the documents that the accountant wanted...dunno how easy it is to retrieve it lah..but that is not my problem..hehe. sean has to do it anyway... :)

the lemon poppy seed cupcakes. the cake is soft and delicious..but my fear is that it could get dry after a couple of days..wonder if i could substitute the butter for this cake with oil..that way it will stay moist.

well apart from all the baking and cooking, i had to compile the year's worth of paper work. biasa it is done quarterly, but because we closed the clinic down in june..there was no rush lah..in fact if it weren't for one of the ladies doing our accounts leaving within 2 weeks time..i would have just done it sometime in january..but now..dah nak kena rush jugak lah..ni lah..me procrastinating..sib baik all the stuff is already there..cuma one part jer belum habis..tu pun it is not with me..but this will be the last. after this year, we do not have to use an acct to do our taxes..sean can do it on his own like before :)

this is what the girls and i are excited about..not about the eating..hehehe..the baking of the cake and all that is just an excuse for us to play around with the frosting :)

oh, tadi kan i tepon kak chom...yelah planning insyallah next year nak balik. ingatkan, rumah adik i kat teban dah siap yang baru by the time i balik sana..but no lah..she said maybe 2 or 3 more years..yelah if i plan to stay there a while..ingat nak lepak kat teban :) but she said, tinggal jer rumah my eldest bro..hehe..can no problem...mekaseh..hehe. ingat jugak i nak buat parti..yelah abang i gi keje whole day, kak chom kat rumah mak dia..apa lagi cik sri..kak za..dan kawan2 semua ( ni kira cam dialog drama eh..eheh)..meh kiter parti alompak a go go...hahahahahahhahaha.....acah ajer...parti tu ada lah..but alompak a go go tu takder lah..hehehe..
