well, the bags are half packed. besok just packing a few stuff jer. then a couple of stuff to do and voila..off we go to kansas city first to visit a friend yang had a baby dah berbulan and now baru nak pergi tengok. and on sunday..we will leave for minneapolis proper.

my whole body is aching. didn't know that swimming takes a lot out of you. and yes..i am taking swimming lessons..hehe. sean lah my teacher. ingatkan nak amik private lessons..but just kat the lake..i thought..might as well try try and alhamdullilah, i can float on my back and float on my front, albeit kena tutup hidung with my fingers...hehe..and i can tread water a bit..slowly slowly lah.. sarina toksah cakap lah...she was giving me pointers when all i wanted was for her to give me some space. sarah, she was in her own little world. swimming kat shoreline and for the most part..main pasir :) water was a bit cold, but once you get used to it, it was fun :) so mintak2 by this year i can swim..hehehhe. well, here are some pictures from last saturday nyer swimming at the lake and our friend kite surfing.
this is also the first time i have seen these flowers near the water.
this turn out to be very nice. caught a picture of the wave rolling in.
ladybugs berlambak...i think every year maybe the park ranges and wildlife ppl released a ton of these bugs :)biasalah..banyak gambar..hehe. i'll let the pictures do the talking :) you all have a great week ahead okay. and also have a great weekend.
wahhh..abang, kak long best seh..dapat gi japan :) i bet she is so happy..hehe. oh i forgot, to become a consellor at her level is actually a big deal. nak nak when she is elected by the teacher. in my school, we had to have elections and the kids kena buat campaign..macam pilihanraya gitulah..hehe.

Wah Rosma, you balik sini boleh lah kita gi swimming together!! :D Tapi kat pool lah... I tak berani swim in the sea water here. Keluar laut, gerenti my skin macam2 bintik keluar... water here is getting dirtier by the minute. The lake there looks like a beautiful beach!! Oh my, very inviting! As always your girls look lovely and happy :D Itu bunga is very very pretty! The first one. What's the name? If only we get wild flowers around here. Speaking of which, I noticed a few trees along the roads here are blooming with flowers!! It looks really pretty! But only visible when I'm on the train above ground. Gahmen suruh diorang bloom far from the reach of us kiasu singaporeans agaknye, so we won't petik those bunga2 :D

Kita suka juga swimming tapi nak tempat yang tak ada orang. Kalau beach..alah...segan lah sebab orang lain tak ada babat. Kita ada babat banyak! Have fun y'all. Nak pergi mana ni and how many days? Life's a journey betul...go places and have a blast.
The girls looks like they are having loads of fun kak rosma..sounds like the mummy is having fun too taking swimming lessons..at least you started :-) I saw a swimming sch here the other day with indoor pool semua and went to inquire lah tapi most of the instructors are males..tu yang tak best..i have a phobia of males teaching swimming cos they can be pretty impatient but i shouldnt generalise lah i know..

Intially tak kasi pergi pasal kena bayar $800 ,lepas I think dia chakap $80. So kak Chom was thinking nanti bawak balik budak Jepun macam mana nak jaga ,kasi makan lepas tu selet. So $80 terpaksa agreed to let her go ,3days later $400 pakai nampak nak kena cancel. Lepas I think 4days they ask for my 2 bulan payslip & it's free ,horray2 lah dia tetapi sekarang dia dah grown-up makin pening I think pasal dia maybe you e-mail some sense to her maklum-lah dah ngada2 dah

my kids ni pun skrg lagik itam belegam... mandi air sungai 3 hari berturut2.. lol.
sweets..sure sure insyallah :) i pakai wet suit berenang kat pool boleh hahha. oh the sea water tu agaknyer dah terlalu banyak foreign bodies tak kat situ sebab ti jadi cam gitu. oh mmg..wilson lake is the most beautiful lake here in kansas. yang lain2 tu..only god for fishing lah. i pun tak nak mandi kat situ..hehe. the first one, i am still looking the name up. i have this book of wildflowers but nak kata lupine..it is different. oh i went wild flower crazy snapping pictures here and there :) the girls are always happy when they are in the water :) i remember the rain tree kat sana..lawa when blooming, the angsanas and sometimes very rare lah..flame of the forest :) well..we had an interesting vacation..so will update it soon :)
sri..insyallah..kiter swimming swimming kat tempat tempat yang terceruk..hehe. samalah dengan i..swimming at the lake pun sebab there's no one around :) kalau tak..i main tak tepi2 jer..haha you datang sini nak selit mana2 pun silakan..kiter tak marah punya..haha.
kak za..insyallah..kalau i datang time summer..nak swim kat your river lah..hehe. lawa seh your river tu. this lake besar..banyak penjuru2 yang terpencil..so that is where we go swimming away from ppl. that is why boleh jugak lah belajar sikit2..hehehe. we went to of course kan st.paul/minneapolis, MN pastu we went to duluth MN, then to thunder bay, ontario Canada..then balik ke minnesota than sioux falls Iowa..then baru balik rumah..but along the way we stopped at places in nebraska :) we saw a lot lah kak za :) we left saturday, and came back the following saturday so genap seminggu :)
zee, sean has been trying to teach me or learn how wim for years now...baru this year said..okay lah i try..haha. but i don't think i want to get an instructor..just swimming at the lake jer dah kira cukup lah tu :) the girls are always happy when they can do whatever they want..hahahaha..like sarah main pasir and sarina does whatever she is doing lah..hehe. and yes, insyallah i will update soon :)

nora..samalah kat sini. my girls 2 days in the sun and water jer..dah jadi 'tanned' sehhhh..hahaha. and yes..insyallah balik sana will have berendaming session with the kiddies :)
