235-35-35..ingat tak nombor tepon ni :)

hahaha...biasalah..lepas pasta..next request pizza :) so the same sos i can make into several different things.



yesterday's sos that i made. i used many cloves of garlic minced, ni ikut citarasa sendiri :) two carrots diced, one celery heart diced, one very big onion diced. 1/4 cup olive oil and saute the whole thing...next ad the canned tomatoes. now i used the ones with the basil already in it. i used like 4 big cans. and then add a few bay leaves and let it simmer. add salt and pepper..if it is too tangy, add a bit of sugar, but again, not too much. next if you like chunky sauce, serve as is..or like in this case, i pureed mine till smooth :)


left over..dapatlah almost two jars of pasta sauce from yesterday's batch :)



spread the sos on the dough. this is a simple dough that i just main agak2 jer..a cup of warm water, a tbs of sugar, a tbs of instant yeast. mix this together and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. then add the flour, salt and a bit of olive oil. i think , i used like 3-4 cups of flour, a tsp of salt and 2 tbs of olive oil and knead the dough. add water if it is to dry :) which i had to anyway..like i said, this one i made main agak2 jer :)

baked at 425 degrees F, or the highest possible...and voila! cheese pizza.

oh, side note..the salad dressing below..it uses a lot of ingredients. yes..the dressing is actually thick and creany..the base of the dressing is simple mayo lah..when you add egg yolk to olive oil and lemon juice, basically you are making mayo already. the other stuff, like the anchovies, adds more flavour to it..hence that it what makes different salad dressing tastes the way they do. like thousand island..it uses tomato sos as a base..added together with sweet gherkins and such.

so here's the resipe for the caeser dressing:

2 cloves of garlic
juice of one lemon
one egg yolk, raw
2 anchovy fillets, the ones you get in the cans. :)
a dash or two of worcestershire sos
salt and pepper to taste
1-2 tsp of mustard

put all in a blender and just process it :) taste for seasonings :) when you are ready to serve, grate some parmesan cheese onto the salad and toss again. don't forget the croutons.

Dah lama lah tak buat homemade pizza - too many of those pizza delivery companies here, buy 1 get 1 free, etc, so beli lagi cepat dapat. But of course buat lagi lumayan and satisfactory. Nak overload the ingredients also can at no extra charge :D

thanx for the recipe..shud come in handy. my kids love pizza...cheezy ones are their favourite! guess wat, tadi buka posa, i pon tekan that number on your blog post... they have some latest flavour tau...triple chicken pizza, they put 1000 island sos as base.... cepat balik sini, nanti i bole belanja! :))

Wah rajin maknyer Sarina/Sarah. Lama2 you tak yah makan luar lah. Apa nak semua boleh buat. Lagi baik buat sendiri yer tak? Dah tentu2 bersih. Kalau beli entah apa2 yang berlaku kat dapur kedai tu kita pun tak tau. Cam ni kita boleh bukak kedai. You masak, I atur meja/kerusi, cleaning and kira untung. Sean layan customers, John order barang2 from suppliers. Sarina/Sarah boleh tolong cuci pinggan. Our cats/ chickens can help eat all the leftovers. So no wasting. InsyaAllah eh...kalau you pindah sini aaa..hahaha...bila agak2 eh?

mey..bukak warung kat tepi jalan kat sini..adakan kena masok lokap...hahah. leceh lah nak bukak restaurant or a small place..sebab you have to be there all the time to make it worth your while :) i think i prefer catering..more control :)

sweets, the best thing kan..is when i tumis lauk2 kita..heheh...sean said, tak bukak pintu pun you can smell it from the outside :)oh i know..when you are spolied for choice and it is inexpensive, definitely i will order jer lah kan :)

nora..hahaha. itu nombor cepumas :) same here..they love cheezy pizzas :) the dough pun you can make into breadsticks :)

kak za..lah ini pun kesian tengok orang puasa. buatkan jugaklah :)true..buat sendiri mmg takder problem but tulah sometimes macam very the malas lah :)oh boleh.kalau kita dekat..mmg dah boleh bukak kedai dah :) tulah..tanyer jugak sean..ada chan ker kita leh pindah sana..hahaha
